THE VISION
As the Community Relations Executive for the DokuBaku International Documentary Film Festival, my mission was to create a platform where global and local filmmakers could connect, fostering cultural dialogue and bridging perspectives. With the theme 'iCosmos', this year’s festival delves into the intricate relationship between our inner worlds and the universe, exploring how our choices shape both personal and collective realities.
THE BREAKTHROUGH
This year's festival, featuring 72 films from 36 countries, marked a significant expansion in DokuBaku’s global reach. My role in leading PR activities, building connections between international filmmakers and local industry representatives, and managing guest relations ensured that DokuBaku served as a platform for rich cultural exchanges. By curating impactful conversations around the 'iCosmos' theme, I helped solidify DokuBaku’s position as Azerbaijan’s premier documentary film festival, nurturing both local talent and global storytelling.
